| With the development of 3G networks, and the existing video coding standardizations, e.g. MPEG-4, H.264, etc., streaming media applications grow rapidly. In addition, the capacity of mobile terminals has improved so much and video decoding becomes possible on those terminals. Thus, mobile streaming media technology, combined mobile communication technology and streaming media service, gets a rapidly development and streaming media service becomes necessary in people's lives, especially after taking interaction into account.Now, using entire-file downloading model, most wireless streaming media services provide users with no more than one picture for browsing. No enough information, users can not accurately grasp the whole media file and fragment downloading is also impossible. So, the downloading is inefficient. This paper introduces an interactive media downloading system, which allows users to download and play only the interested media clips after previewing a number of key-frame pictures. This method improves the efficiency of downloading. The control server is an important component of the interactive streaming media system, and it maintains media information of the whole system and assists data transmission between media servers and mobile devices. In addition, by analyzing of user behavior, user interest model is set up and users are classified. Based on those user classes, the control server provides users with personalized services, improving efficiency of the service.The thesis firstly introduces the mobile streaming media applications and relative technologies of personalized recommendation service, proposed solution of media consumption system. Then it introduces the control server subsystem, including requirement analysis, design and implementation, especially about the personalized recommendation subsystem. Finally, the paper introduces the test result of the system.At last, the thesis makes a summary, and describes the shortage and the future work. |
