Green grain storage is the future trend of development, it can avoid jeopardizing from microorganism epiphyte toxin and chemical pesticide. In order to improve the grain storage technique in current and seek for the green-storage, this paper presents the measure and control system for grain storage based on CAN bus and CVI software to achieve the long-distance monitoring of the system at any moment.The paper brings forward the new grain measure and control system structure, based on C8051F040, CAN bus and CVI. The system consists of the measure and control node, the communication system and the monitoring interface .C8051F040 as controller is adopted in the measure and control node. The paper designs basic circuits, application software and monitoring program from the hardware and the software aspects, achieving data collection, data show and ventilation control. The data collection includes temperature collection, humidity collection and pressure collection. They can be achieved through DS18B20 temperature sensor, SHT71 temperature and humidity sensor and SDP2000-L pressure sensor. The LCD1602 display is adopted in data show to debug conveniently on the spot. The ventilation control can control when to startup or stop the blower conveniently at any moment through the relay and realize the grain storage safely.The communication system can achieve the communication between the intelligent node and the CVI monitoring interface as well as the data transmitting and receiving through the C8051F040 MCU and the Bosch CAN controller.The monitoring interface with CVI software can communicate with intelligent node through the switchover of CAN/USB and realize the following functions: setting the parameter of the measure and control system, inquiring about the state of the grain depot, data processing, communicating with the controlled environment chamber, ventilation control and data printing.It is proved by experiment that the grain measure and control system based on the C8051F040 MCU, CAN bus and CVI can meet the requirement of detecting the environment parameters of the grain and the granary completely. It also offers grope for the application to the bigger granaries in the future.
