Along with the continuous improvement of vehicle performance, the application of electronic control system in the vehicle is increasingly complex, which makes the network technology devolop rapidly and used widely, supporting more ECU in the vehicle and improving the car's safety and comfort. The switch has to realize the conversations between different protocols. But it brings lots of problems, such as poor maintainability, reliability.etc. When some new bus technology is brought into the car, the switch has to need modified greatly, even re-design, which increases the cost of development and reduces the openness in vehicle network. It researches on the design of CAN/LIN/FlexRay MultiBus Switch based on the Quantum Framework, improving the openness. The main work of this paper focuses on the aspects as follows:It discusses the FSM and its specific technology—Quantum Framework(QF). QF considers the activity object as the fundamental element and all the activity objects communicated each other through the QF which plays a role of software bus and it brings forward an architecture of CAN/LIN/FlexRay Switch which doesn't rely on the controller and operation system style, realizing the openness in the aspect of the software and hardware.It brings up the overall design of Switch and Real-Time. First of all, it analyzes the arbitration mechanism and synchronization principles of the CAN network. After talking about the development and characteristics of the FlexRay, it says the FlexRay's synchronization from the perspective of the QF and looks into the FlexRay network synchronization process and its initialization. At last, it proposes the solution of real-time property in the switch design and design of hardware and software .It discusses the hardware and software design. After the configuration of the port of the RTOS and software bus based on the QF—run environment and system software briefly, analyzes the process of the Switch, it models the activity objects based on the FSM and researched on the design method by mean of operation system mode. Finally, it establishes a typical instance in the vehicle to verify the functions and openness.
