One of the important goal of the Labor hygiene and sanitation study is to identify and evaluate the environment of workplaces and to make the greatest extent possible to protect workers hygiene while they are working. Among all of them, the evaluation of the working environment is in order to get a clear understanding about advantages and disadvantages of operating conditions, it is focused on the level of supervision and management; it is also focused on enhancing the protective equipment technical level, such as specific types of gas masks etc. In order to solve these problems, we must fully recognize the situation of workers and workplaces' pollutants which spread in . It is the foundation of formulation the corresponding protective measures by understanding contaminants spreading (such as pollutants in the workplace within the direction and the speed). Only by wholly understanding the contaminated sites in workplaces which the speed and direction at the proliferation can help to select the appropriate protective equipment installed at a suitable location of the control of pollutants, thereby protecting the health of workers homework.This study focused on analyzing the foundation of the condition of workplaces——the question of pollutants sports on the velocity field, using a digital image processing technology analyzes the fluid image velocimetry PIV technology mainstream algorithm and election window technology, mainly Conclusions and research results are following:(1) The preliminary work carried out many information retrieval, access to the current workplace occupational health laws and regulations, workplace conditions and labor protection conditions and fluid velocimetry technology, summed up the development of visualization fluent movement of the past decade, especially in particle image velocimetry technology development process;(2) The advantage of PIV technology is breaking the original single-point measurement limitations, and carrying out the entire flow field implementation of real-time detection. The study analyzed the mainstream of algorithm and sub-pixel fitting technique of PIV technology and discussed the selection of the size of diagnosis window for the detection accuracy impact. It is concluded that the window size choice should accordance with the actual situation of fluid flow field , the size is too large or too small will cause the information does not match, thereby reducing the accuracy of analysis;(3) In the PIV technology on the basis of an exhaustive study, this study developed a PIV system. The system includes both hardware and software parts, hardware parts of the PIV system combines the technical composition of the actual situation in the formation of a selection of equipment; the study designed a user-friendly operation of the flow field testing procedures based on the MATLAB language in the software. The operator can easily use the program for the calculation of the velocity field. Interface implement the image gray value histogram transform adjust, image noise removal and other image processing functions, and can calculate and display the detection of the velocity field, provide convenience for the operator flow field know the situation and analysis. At the same time, the interface also designed detected image zoom and other auxiliary functions, the design of more humane.(4) In this study, we designed a aeration tank flow field, experimental device will be self-developed testing system used in the PIV experiments.
