The article mainly described that the RFID technology was researched in military vehicle's daily use management by taking Tibet military region some engineer regiment as the example.Comparing with other automatic identification technology, the radio frequency identification (RFID) is a booming new technology of automatic identification, which has good characteristic such as long work range and strong anti-interference etc. The Military Vehicle management System based on RFID will have the function of automatic identification and information collecting for the vehicles status, facilitate the management of military vehicles.This article is to research and analyze the current state of RFID at home and abroad, particularly applications in logistics and vehicle management, in order to lay a good foundation to incorporate this technology into military vehicle management. Based on the RFID technology, this article describes the main function modules of military vehicle management system design and system management software. Convenience of management of vehicles can be realized through this system, including approval and record of vehicles, records on entering garages, control entering camps, check of the pilot-drive vehicles, vehicle inspection and management of refueling and maintenance records. The system has the operational character and high recognition rate and low-cost, easy installation and maintenance. Especially, it can be done without human intervention and also field data collection and comparison can be automatically made with a higher efficiency and labor-saving. The system can be applied to realize the digital information of vehicles, promote the use of day-to-day management and improve the management efficiency of vehicles to meet the needs of the development of the troops. And also it provides a theoretical basis and practical methods for the day-to-day management of the vehicle under the new situation.In addition, with the function for the future expansion this system can successfully lay a good foundation for the establishment of personnel, firearms and ammunition management system based on the RFID.
