With the advent of the information age, the development of Internet technology and the emergence of computer network management for the university has brought new technology and convenient, quick management methods, and also brought new content, new opportunities and new challenges for standardized management and scientific reform.Using campus network and Internet network, information can be retrieve expediently and management efficiently. The departments in the university can be collaborate through the Internet to further improve the efficiency of the work.In order to meet the university equipment management networking,develop the efficiency of the network system, as well as human and material resources'advantages, the paper provide a quick and convenient platform for the department of equipment management.The paper using the practical application of university equipment management system as a background,.NET technology as main technology ,build a multi-layer university equipment management system based on Web .The paper studies the existing equipment management information system, and then designed and implemented a Equipment Management System based on B/S architecture which on the question of its existence. It begins with requirement analysis, develop the system in strictly accordance with the planning of software engineering process which ensuring the stability and maintainability, scalability of this system. The system to the current software development and application of software engineering theory as a guide, using the prototyping and object-oriented development method, in combination with the design of a multi-layer architecture, database and other fields technology. Using .NET as a development platform,Visual Studio.NET 2005 as development environment, ASP.NET, C# provided by Microsoft as programming language, SQL Server 2005 as database to realize the system. The using of multi-layer architecture provides users with a friendly graphical interface, better maintainability, security and stability.Network-based university equipment management system make university equipment management improved efficiency and used rationally.It also makes them more standardized and scientific and informationization to meet the requirements of teaching and researching.
