Research And Implementation On Methods Of Conversion From WF-Net To PNML

Workflow is the automation of a business, in all or part, during which documents, information or tasks are passed from one participant to another, according to a set of procedural rules. WorkFlow-net (WF-net) is one of the mainly used modeling techniques for both workflow modeling and qualitative and quantitative analysis of workflow system. Petri Net Markup Language (PNML), which is a XML-based interchange format, enables the exchange of Petri nets among different Petri net tools and among different departments. Based on PNML to develop WF-net's interchange format contribute to WF-net more widely used.In this thesis, the following details are under consideration(1)On the base of PNML Meta Model, the thesis bring ups the WF-nets Meta Model.(2)Correspond to WF-nets Meta Model, introduces the conversion rules of WF-net model elements to PNML.(3)the design and implement of WF-net modeling tool in order to describe automatic transform between WF-net to PNML.
