Networking has been commonly applied nowadays, especially in the education field. Thus the net education is focus of the research. The research found that though the net education solves the problem of time and space, it doesn't take participants of different gender, age and technology into account. Among these, acting as basis of teaching material in the net education, how the design of multi media material resource could be available to the information vulnerable group gets more attention. The scholars abroad raised the idea of accessibility, a net instruction pattern by which people could realize learning anywhere and anytime. Under the guideline of this idea, the design of multi media material tends to become accessible multi media resource.The research focuses on the design strategy of the accessible multi media resource, guides the making and exploiting of the accessible multi media material and proves the feasibility of the theoretic research and possibility of its practice. The research is mainly divided into several chapters:Definition of related conception and literature review:This chapter defines accessibility, accessible net education, and accessible multi media materials; analyzes status quo abroad and home from perspectives of policy, research and development as well as application; obtains the deficiency of this research in China and its implication. In the end the author concludes the contents of the accessible multi media materials and ubiquitous problems.The design foundation and principle of the accessible multi media material:The design foundation of the accessible multi media material is divided into theoretical one which includes net teaching material designing theory, universal design theory, such as inclusive education, lifelong education, universal interface design and universal learning and practical one which includes the need analysis and objective settlement of the disadvantage learner's net learning. The author concludes the principle of designing accessible multi media material. The research divides the accessible multi media material into five parts as text, image, audio, video and flash and constructs the designing strategy of accessible multi media material based on the idea of universal interface design.The design of accessible multi media material :This chapter introduces principle and design flow of accessible multi media material, under the requirement of SENDA,DDA,508 clause, based on the observation of WCAG1.0/2.0 issued by W3C, designs and makes materials of five types: text, image, audio, video, and flash.The producer and designer of multi media material have responsibility to make it accessible, only considering the actual need of the information vulnerable group can they make multi media material various, plentiful and make education fair and harmonious.
