New Rural Reconstruction Newspaper Reports Study

The new rural reconstruction slogan has already been proposed for more than three years. The agricultural production and the rural life have also been tremendously changed along with the slogan proposal. At the same time, all levels of news media have built intensive propaganda atmosphere for the new rural reconstruction. Taking the newspaper or paper media as a starting point in this paper, we study the characteristics of new rural reports on the newspaper, and carry out classified analysis on the newspaper, specifically carry out sampling analysis on one week new rural reconstruction reports of "Farmers' Daily". Finally, we propose some improvement methods.In this paper, we have done classified analysis on new rural reports of the party newspaper, the evening news metropolis newspaper, and agricultural-related newspaper. We discover that "the agenda setup" has obvious impact in the party newspaper: the reports about the new rural reconstruction policies and regulations accounted for the majority. But the evening news metropolis newspaper was not very comprehensive to policies and regulations' macroscopic assurance, and lacked report depth. Agricultural-related newspaper mostly focused on the new rural reconstruction economy, science and technology, with few reports reflecting the voice from the public. All kinds of newspapers exists quite obvious merits and shortcomings. Through detailed sampling analysis of People's Daily, we summarize three points on improving the quality of reports respectively in the last chapter. 1) The report should do the investigation and study in advance. 2) "Based on the farmers"—let farmers play the major role. 3) "Planning innovations, and increasing the report shining points and depth".The new rural reconstruction is a long-term strategic plan and needs the joint effort of the entire society. The newspaper, as the party's important propaganda media, should stand in front of the era and contributes its own strength for the great goal of new rural reconstruction.
