With the rapid development of the next Internet, IPv6 certainly will replace IPv4 and be more and more exerted in many various wired and wireless networks. At the same time, mobile Ad Hoc network, this is a self-organization, self-management and without basic establishment, has many advantages. It increasingly valued in domestic and international environment, so it becomes the part and parcel in the next network. Therefore, the Ad Hoc network technologies that based on IPv6, such as the routing technology and the Internet access technology, have brightly future. In this paper, we just follow the opinion as adove. The purpose is to try to apply the IPv6 technology in the mobile Ad Hoc network.Firstly, in this dissertation, we introduce the IPv6 and mobile IPv6 technologies, as well as expound the characteristics and advantages of the technology. Secondly, we research the Ad Hoc network; introduce its characteristics, application requirement, architecture and routing technologies; compare and analyse different routing protocols, whereafter, we introduce some exist access technologies. Thirdly, we pay much attention to unite of the two techniques. In order to effectively resolve the issue that how the Ad Hoc network, which based on IPv6, accesses to Internet, we propose a multigateway-based, asymmetric Internet connectivity stratergy, and design a"dynamic feedback load-balancing"routing protocol to access Internet, also discuss the process of establishing connection and data transmission between the Ad Hoc node and Internet host.After designing and realizing protocol above, we use software NS2 (Network Simulator Version 2) to establish simulation scene that based on IPv6 and accomplish the intercommunication between the wireless mobile Ad Hoc network and Internet. Then, through simulation, we analyse the results, and compare those results with the performance of DSR protocol. By the simulation results, our Internet connectivity technology is proved to be more suitable. Finally, we not only summarize our work, but also propose improvement and research direction.
