Design Of A Digital Flat Panel Display System And Some Related Key Technologies

As the Flat panel digital TV becomes popular, the customers have more and more requirement on the quality of display image. Video processing system ,as an important part of Flat Panel digital TV, takes huge effect on improving the quality of display image.A video processing board for flat panel display based on OPLUS MONET203 processor is introduced here. First, I analyze the feature of video processing technique for flat panel display, then I describe the powerful function of MONET203 video processor; and a video processing board is designed using MONET203 as a core kernel ,other peripheral devices include: TVP5146 as a video decoder; AD9882 as ADC, etc. OPLUS will provide the reference software and some application tools for debugging the electronic circuit. Sequentially, the important thing to do is to optimize the display effect using the tools of PCCS. Finally, I design three different application function based on the current board: Closed caption function, V-CHIP function and PC/HDTV signal receiving function. I will introduce the detail process of these function implementation on software or hardware. In the end, I sum up the whole function of Monet203 video processing system, also prospect the future development of this system.
