| Far-field energy distribution is a key indicator in the assessment of high power laser. With the development and applications of laser, it is becoming an urgent need to perfectly test the far-field energy distribution of lasers. With absolute measurement and relative measurement combined, we propose a method of testing laser far-field energy distribution in particular distance in this paper.A method of far-field laser energy distribution testing is introduced in this paper. We formed a feasible system for testing, which included an energy target for testing, subsystems of imaging, data acquisition subsystem, data transmission system, terminal computers and so on. The principle of this method is that we set a diffuse target in the distance between 1 and 3 km and set some energy detector on the feature points of the target, then we can get the energy distribution of laser far-field from the detectors' data and the photos CCD camera makes for the target.Designing of the imaging system is the main task of this paper including selection of CCD camera, optical designing, aberration correcting, evaluating of imaging quality and the installing of system. At last we get the energy density and its distribution by processing the spot image with Matalab software, and the testing result shows that our system achieves the requirements. |
