| This paper designed a video signal acquisition and processing methods base on FPGA, for the real-time, high-speed requirements in laser spot detection system. It used in precision tracking APT unit of the Free-space optical communication(FSO) system.There is a IMPERX's VGA-210 type CCD camera use on the laser beam to capture, the image data from a CameraLink frame grabber cenect to the FPGA data processing unit. Use of FPGA to the data stream filtering, then calculation the Centroid location of spot by a special formula. At laster,the coordinates sent by high-speed serial RS485 output. At the same time ,the use of VGA display interface to real-time display of spot images.This design system achieved technical indicators are: the Centroid coordinates of spot detection speed is 3000fps,the precision is sub-pixel 10 to ensure that a valid data after decimal point stable. Achieve high speed and high precision technical requirements and the system miniaturization and lighter. |
