| With the ever-increasing number of space explorations, huge amount of data need to be transmitted in deep space network. As the propagation delay is huge and the links switch frequently, current transport protocols get low performance in space network. Thus, it becomes a critical problem to design reliable and efficient deep space network protocol to meet the demand of deep space explorations. In this paper, we first analyze the transport mechanism of upper layer protocols in present TCP/IP network. We also research on the deep space delivery protocol CFDP (CCSDS File Delivery Protocol). We analyze its transport process and make performance analysis combined with the features of deep space network. Then, we brought forward a brand new space network protocol RFDP (Relay FDP) based on relay transmission. With the mechanism of relay transmission, RFDP provides highly reliable and efficient file delivery service to space user. We also make performance analysis & contrast to both space protocols. Finally, we construct the deep space experimental platform. Space links can be simulated by adjusting relevant platform parameters. We construct the transport protocols in the platform. With proper configurations, we can realize the performance verification of relevant protocol. |
