| Currently, the application of embedded system are deepening in all fields, a large number of application products developed by the embedded system platform are emerging. The purpose of this thesis is to use the rising embedded technology, integrate the characteristics of the electronic chart technology and the relevant international standard, design and develop an Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) based on Windows CE platform.In this thesis, the development status of embedded electronic chart and embedded system are introduced first. And then the significance and necessity of the research topics are analyzed. By analyzing some of the research results of ECDIS, the basic software and hardware framework of ECDIS is summarized. Based on the basic framework, combining with the inherent characteristics of Windows CE system, and with hierarchical, modular thinking, the whole framework of ECDIS based on Windows CE platform is designed. The designing process of software framework and chart display module is also discussed in detail.According to the IHO S-57 standard, the building process of ENC data theoretical model and its document organizational structure are discussed. The necessity and feasibility to design the EM-SENC are analyzed. The design principle of EM-SENC and the data format conversion method from ENC to EM-SENC are also discussed. As the need for electronic chart display, the chart coordinates transformation algorithm theory is discussed.Finally, according to the IHO S-52 standard, the chart display module is programmed and the display results are given. The results show that this system is especially suitable to be applied to personal yacht and small fishing boats, it can be ported to a variety of embedded devices. |
