That is why while we are relying on the dimensions of net of enlarge the highroad to solve the increasing traffic needs, we also need high technology to transform the existing road transport system and its management approach,and then to reach object of improving traffic capacity and service quality, and make environmental protection quality and energy efficiency better.Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) reflects the consanguineous combination of "man-vehicle-road-environment", thus to greatly increase transportation safety, efficiency, environmental quality and environmental quality and energy utilization. According to the present situation of domestic traffic, the concept of embedded system is applied in the creation of vehicle warning system, which can provide vehicle safety effectual guarantee as well as detect illegal drivings. As a part of Intelligent Traffic Monitoring System, the system provides technical support for moving information acquisition of monitored control system.This article determined the technique and methods to achieve system function by analyzing the system functional requirements. Grounded on modular programming method for the development, it divides the system function module, and then designs hardware platform focuses on each module. System adopts high-powered embedded processor PXA270, customizes Windows CE 5.0 embedded operating system according to requirements; applies infrared communications technology and advanced GSM/GPRS data communications; accomplishes most monitoring and early warning of injuria during vehicles running; obtains the position of vehicle by GPS.Furthermore,System can automaticly recognize and deal with the collected data that from each module through received serial port;send relevant information to montor- ing center accurately while there is a traffic accident or illegal driving, and at the same time, prompt the driver by voice.It is able to help regulators strengthen road safe supervision, timely access to the vehicles and road condition, in favor of reduction of manpower,material resources and financial aids, remind drivers the need for more attention to traffic safety by providing drivers real-time traffic information if system is used in real world applications. |
