Research And Design Of A Knowledge Base In Foreign Exchange Domain

Along with the rising of the era of Internet Economy, knowledge management gradually becomes the key task among the management tasks in many knowledge-based or technology-based enterprises. Knowledge management system is a knowledge system that combines management and technology in an enterprise. Through the processes of collecting, storing, organizing, updating and sharing, Knowledge management system makes the explicit and tacit knowledge achieve maximally utilized in enterprises and makes the enterprises continuously creative, which can support the decision making in enterprises. The most of traditional knowledge management systems are closed and lack of unified semantic representation, Currently in most enterprises, knowledge management systems are only based on Blog, Wiki, collaborative tools or some sub-module of an ERP system, which cannot satisfy many specific requirements well.This paper does a research on the application state of enterprise knowledge management systems. Then based on that, the paper emphatically does a research and analysis on fundamental theories related to knowledge management system, which includes analysis of semantic web and ontology. After that, this paper focuses on the implementation methodology for a knowledge management system which can fit a common enterprise, which includes the process of implementation and some key technologies and tools. Properties and relations are formulized and semantically represented through modeling of the ontology in Foreign Exchange domain, the concepts. which results in a foreign exchange ontology expressed in OWL. Then with the implementation methodology and tools, a query and search system on foreign exchange ontology is implemented.At the end, this paper also concludes the implementation of knowledge management system, indicates the shortages of the prototype knowledge base and proposes the areas that can be kept researching on and involve more tasks in the future.
