To solute the downtime of CHRAS(Call History Recorde Analyse System)in the existing communication network,this paper proposes the Researsh and implementation of backup and recovery in core network operation support system based on mkCDrec. The Method can recovery operating system quickly after the downtime of operating system not damaging CHRAS and database. The CHRAS system in the database, failure, non-routine recovery can be quickly restored to the initial installation of CHRAS configured state.In this paper, backup and recovery of CHRAS as an example, backup and recovery of the existing communication network for the research topic, proposes a general method of disaster rescue for large database software on a Linux server. The paper carries out a more in-depth research and analysis, specific studies on the content:Proposed the separation of application software and operating systems ,database and database management systems, hard disk partition as the basic,on the basis of in-depth analysis of CHRAS.Analysis the backup and recovery principles and the source code of open source software mkCDrec (Make CD-ROM recovery), adapte mkCDrec to HP DL580 G5 servers under SUSE 10 SP2 system capable of RAID5 disk mirroring and recovery.Analysis the principles of Linux boot disk and mkCDrec image restoration theory, modify the original source code and write shell scripts to use the operating system installation disk to restore.After the restore of CHRAS system, through the PL/SQL stored procedures, clearing and reconstruction of historical data table space,for the Oracle database table space built on the bare device.
