The rapid development of economic prompts the acceleration of urbanization to improve faster. With the scientific and technological progress and the improvement of living environment, city lighting is increasingly becoming a symbol of urban civilization. Therefore, the city street lamp control system, reasonable, convenient, environmental-friendly, is particularly important. As for this problem, we research a city street lamp control monitor terminal which based on the GPRS technology combined with micro-computer control technology, sensors and detection technology. The terminal applies ATMega1280 and PL3105 as the center processors, connecting to GPRS net Through SIM card. Illumination, humidity and electric power parameters can be gathered in real time, as well as processed, stored, displayed and so on. At the same time the controller analyses the parameters, controls the relays and realizes intellectualized management. This paper analyzes the city street lamp control system, gives the requirements and parameters about the design of the system, and has a deep study on the GPRS and PLC.In response to the program and requirements, the writer designed the hardware circuit of the monitor terminal, which includes the signal acquisition module, man-machine interface module, communication interface module, the PLC module, I/O port selection and control module circuit; analyzed and wrote software on the monitoring terminal, which includes control algorithm analysis, communication protocol analysis, modular programming (keyboard, display, communication, intelligent control, I~2C wire, etc.); developed a remote monitoring window, which includes the window function modules and the structure plan and mainly talked about the PC communication and data processing, program packaging and installation.Finally, the writer tested the hardware and software of the monitoring terminal and drove the result that the system meets the target requirements. At the same time did an experiment on the city street lamp control system and fount that it plays an important role in the saving power, which could save about 15% of the power in a month. The monitoring terminal meets the development of economic market, and the device will have a large market.
