The analysis and calculation method of reflector antenna and microwave holography measurement technique of large reflector antenna are studied in this paper. Firstly, the basic theory of reflector antenna and two widely used analysis and calculation methods, i.e. geometrical optics(GO) and physical optics(PO), are introduced. Then on the basis of physical optics we calculate the radiation pattern of a reflector antenna is calculated and compared with the radiation pattern calculated by the GRASP9.3.01-se.The results show that the calculation results in this paper fit well with the simulation results calculated by the GRASP9.3.01-se. As in this paper the microwave holography is studied, the radiation pattern of a reflector with distorted surfaces is calculated and compared with the pattern calculated by the GRASP9.3.01-se, and the results agree with each other well, what is more, the reflector with distorted surfaces and lateral feed is analyzed. The radiation pattern is calculated, which also fits well with the radiation pattern calculated by the GRASP9.3.01-se. Firstly, microwave holography measurement technique of large reflector antenna is studied emphasizely. A model of a reflector antenna with distorted surface is built. The relationship between the radiation pattern and the distorted error is derived and fast Fourier transform(FFT) is employed to decrease the calculation time greatly. Three representative distorted models are calculated, including symmetrical distort, dissymmetrical distort and wavy dissymmetrical distort. The distort calculated in this paper is compared with the distort set in the model and the results are identical. The error between the distort calculated in this paper and the distort set in the model is about 0.04mm.
