| Using of traditional instruments such as luminance meter, we can't access to the luminance of each LED point of the LED display synchronously and efficiently, which have seriously constrained the development of the LED display in the luminance calibration, uniformity evaluation aspects.To solute the above problems, this paper research the application of the LED display measured by area -array camera, based on the analysis of area-array camera theory and optical principles of measurement theory. The image shadow of the camera, lens distortion, CCD pixel response non-uniformity was corrected; CCD blind spot is detected and compensated; photoelectric response curve is amended, and then we can obtain the functional relationship between the gray values and light flux. After the camera is calibrated, this paper samples LED display lights point using more than 6x6 pixels, calculates luminance using threshold method and controls the camera exposure and focus using threshold method in the measurement process of LED display parameters, so it ensures data accuracy.In this paper, we measure a 32x16 of the LED display modules using software system. The software system's error is±3.12%.So this paper implement the measurements of the LED display's single point. |
