Integral Imaging is a very important subject in the fields of three-dimensional display. It is able to work with incoherent light, and it does not require the use of any special glasses. Its study is of great significance not only in theoretical research but also in practical application.Based on the projection-type Integral Imaging, the physical effects of imaging system are analyzed in detail, and the subsystems'modulation transfer function model are established. Then, the theoretical model of the perceptual contrast threshold surface is derived by considering the integral contribution of an Integral Imaging system as well as the human visual system. The reconstruction image's spatial distortions caused by lens arrays'error are derived by use of geometric and wave optics analysis. The spot diagram is obtained by using the ray tracing model. And the computational Integral Imaging simulations correspond to the previous results.
