| Records management system (RMS) is an important part of a tamping car.. And recorder is the core part of records management system. Currently, the mechanical recorders in our country are mainly imported. But there are a lot of problems existing in those mechanical recorders, such as paper-blocking and pen-blocking and lack of anti-shock ability. With the development of electronic technology, electronic recorders based on PC have been produced and widely used. But this kind of recorder is large and expensive usually. So it can not satisfy the needs of production intelligentization, data transmission networking and online data analysis.To settle the problems above, we propose to design an embedded records management system based on WinCE and give adequate analysis and detailed designs of every module. The system uses client/server model. Client and server use GPRS to communicate. The client consists of data acquisition and processing module data display and store module. The former module uses SCM to realize and the latter one uses embedded development platform based on S3C2440. We use embedded database to save and analyze collected data. The server includes data receiving module and B/S-based record-inquiry system.The major work includes:(1) Investigation and study the development and current situation of the recorder. Analyzed the characteristics and application requirements of paperless recorder.(2) Proposed design of an embedded records management system based on WinCE.(3) Hardware design of data acquisition module, including power supply circuits and data acquisition circuits.(4) Customization of operating system of the data display and store module, design and developing of embedded software in data display module.(5) Design and developing the codes of data receiving service and record-inquiry system in data receiving module.The embedded RMS has the following characteristics:(1) The client is high reliable and robust. It is low-power consumption and can adapt to tamping machine vibration and dusty work environment. Using embedded database technology, the collected data can be effectively saved, managed and hind sighted.(2) Using real-time wireless transmission in communication module. Clients can communicate with server where wireless network is available.(3) The function of data inquiry and analysis is achieved by using B/S-based record-inquiry system. We can view data and the analysis of collected data as long as it can communicate with the server. |
