As one of the core principles of journalism, "News Authenticity" in the dissemination of the truth is playing an important role in promoting the social and historical development. However, with the continuous globalization progresses, the principle of news authenticity was inevitably affected by a number of factors, such as economic, political and cultural differences. Meanwhile, the impact of the phenomenon of false news has resulted in the global media industry attention. From the audience perspective, which combined with the theories of Audience Selective behavior and Uses and Gratifications Approach, based on an international standing, the article analyzes the current situation of news authenticity principles:limited and unlimited plight of their demands, and tries to raise the operational response programs.Communication research results on the audience selective behavior illustrates that those who sent messages to reach mass audiences, or audiences access to information, the progress is made up of three stages:selective attention, selective perception and selective memory. The three stages can be seen as three interrelated circle. The Uses and Gratifications Theory believes that the motivation and the reason of audience engagement, understanding and dissemination in information is that they can meet their own needs and interests. In the mass media communication activities, news reports were prepared for the audience to utilize and to meet the needs of the audience of social and psychological functions. Audience's demand for the news authenticity has its sociology, psychology theoretical resources. Once the news reports departed from the truth far away, the need of the audience in communication activities will not be met, which will tend to undermine the spreading effect. The efficiency of news communication is the beginning and destination of the dissemination process. The intact dissemination process is composed of disseminators, media and audience. Moreover, the audience, which has direct impact on the quality of the news dissemination, is in the core position of the whole process. Because of the untrue news report, the audience arose adverse psychology, and possess a doubtful, distrustful and hostile attitude towards the media, which is detrimental for the interaction between disseminators and audience. The reason for untruthful news is complicated, it is not only associated with the disseminators, information origins and audience, but also with extensively social, political and economical reasons. This paper chiefly applies the classical theory of communication, combined with data of world-renowned research center-the Pew Research Center, the use of empirical analysis method and case study method, and the dissemination of science and psychological case, with the purpose of drawing its own ideas and conclusions. In the end, the author holds the opinion that the so-called news authenticity of reports, which is the subjective mapping product of creators and the audience, has its limited nature. Further, it is still inevitably exist a long distance between authenticity of news reports and the truth of the news event itself. In the highly developed society of globalization and new media, what the media should do is to respect mass media dissemination of information law, in particular, to increase the audience-oriented awareness, which, however, not only needs the respect for the public rights to know and participate, but the emphasis on the development of "citizen reporter" and the rise of new media. Only in this way can the media establish the premise of interactive communication to maximize awareness of the pursuit of news authenticity, and that establish the media credibility.
