This article introduces the knowledge of Fixed asset Management System(FAMS), it analysis a series of problems exist in Domestic Fixed asset manual management, so it proposed the necessity of Fixed asset management automation and introduces the main target of Fixed asset Management System. It elaborations the important technology when develop the system such as B/S structure, using ASP.NET programming, building the database in SQL Server 2000, using ADO.NET technique and JavaScript and so on.I use B/S structure when developing the system, and it has three types user: System manager, Operator, Inquiry user, the different types of user login it that will enter into different operate surface. The system consists of system management ,asset management, Asset repair management, and information query module etc, the article describe the functions of all the modules in detail. The system management module's function is query, modify, delete the basic data; the asset management module's function is to manage import and export the accessory, enroll and transfer asset; the asset repair management module's function is to manage report and repair asset, confirm and discard asset; the information query module's function is to query the information of asset, asset transferring, asset repairing, asset discarding, accessory importing, accessory exporting.The system's function is perfect, the system makes the Fixed asset management system free from manual operation, and makes the system simple, standard, reasonable and scientific. FAMS also is fairly effective, and has friendly interface. It can speed up information transmit and intelligentize , preparing themselves for the entire information management system.
