Train Intelligent Display Terminal Based On ARM9

Train intelligent display terminal as an important part of the locomotive monitoring system, it provides lots of information to ensure Locomotive operation safe. As the window of the train, it realizes condition monitoring of vehicle parts or subsystems, fault diagnosis, and regulation of centralized control functions through the vehicle monitoring system.On the master's thesis and research projects in the working, the author comprehensively study and knowledge of embedded systems, and research a lot about Database Development of SQL Server 2000&SQL Serve CE. Then design the Train intelligent display terminal based on ARM9&Windows CE. This Design use S3C2440 as process center of Train Intelligent Display Terminal (TIDT). Based on S3C2440, we added Power transformation, JTAG,LCD, Button IO, AC'97 Audio Codec Interface, 100MB/S Ethernet, and USB host & slave as hardware expansion, and for software we used Windows CE 5.0 embedded operation system, completed design work including BSP changes, Kernel cutting, driver modifying and adding, at last, we designed the train fault diagnosis data information system. Train real-time fault display and alarm and storage were achieved, In addition, this system implements the Ethernet data synchronization.TIDT had been tested in laboratory and finally, an online test result on SS3B locomotive was given, Verified theoretical study value and actual value of the TIDT system.
