| With the rapid development of educational informationization, all kinds of educational departments and schools have been adopting computer and network assisted educational information management and setting up corresponding information management system. EMIS (Education Management Information Sysytem) is a synthesized information management platform which works for teaching administration, school heads, secretaries, teachers, the whole staff and students on physical platform—campus network. This system can ensure to keep the consistence of data and realize the grading share of data information instead of papers, at the same time the procedure of educational administration and students' administration can be standardized through computer and network system..Combining the characteristic of universities' education, this system is based on Microsoft NET Framework platform to set up the B/S three-tier architecture model of EMIS. The paper analyzes the need of teaching information and concludes school's business process to get systemic functional model. Analyzing the functional model is to finish the system's functional design and database design. From the thoroughly analyzing system, functional module can be divided into 10 submodules:instructional resources management module, teaching plan module, students' enrollment status management module, students'results management module, examination management module, elective management module, teacher management module, system user management and office management. The database use SQL Server 2000 DBS and Power Designer to finish the design of database's table structure and design of relationship between the tables. Finally the code can be realized in Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003.In short, through systems analysis, system design and code realization, this system depends on the thought of software engineering and OOP (object-oriented programming), combines CNT (computer networking technology) and uses three-tier architecture software development technology to achieve research and development of EMIS... |
