Research On The Coherent-on-Receive Processing Technology Of Radar

This paper is based on the optimization of some old magnetron radar system, it is introduced the method of the coherent-on-receive processing(CORP) on the radar signal processor, the theory of moving target indicator(MTI) system, and the method of producing CORP L.O.It is firstly given the method of estimating the pulse frequency and original phase transmitted from magnetron, including the method of directing to do FFT, part DFT, the phase difference of the segmented FFT spectra, and make a comparation between these methods. Then it is introduced the principle of moving target indicator, analyzed and simulated the filter of single delay canceler, double delay canceler, feedback delay canceler, pluse repetition frequency(PRF) staggering, and analyzed the MTI system performance with single dealy canceler filter. In the end, it is speifically discussed the technology of DDS, how to produce the CORP L.O. The system works on the platform which uses CYCLONE chips of ALTERA, ADSP-21065L and AD9854 with high performance of ADI, through the research, we produced the quasi-coherent local oscillator singles that we needed.
