Research & Design On B/S Model General Item System

On the theoretical basis of Classical Test Bank Theory, this paper developed a test bank system by taking advantage of computer's speed and network's capability of communicating information according to the feature of multi-dis cipline and multi-speciality in college and university.The system under discussion adopted a B/S structure and the design plan was Windows 2000 server+SQL Server 2000+â…¡S+ASP.NET. In order to satisfy the enterprise data, we choose the SQL Server 2000 as the data base platform.This system possessed the security and reliability. It gives different jurisdiction to different people who access to the bank such as the system custodian, test question collector, test paper scrutinizer, on-line test custodian and examinees. People with different jurisdiction approach the system in a different access. It also makes use of security design in web application program to solve the transmission of information in the net security. Another measure was keeping an automatic and manual backup of the systematic data base to avoid the damage or loss caused by the accidents.
