With the development of Computer Graphics, the simulation of natural sceneries, such as the colorful fireworks in the sky, the sea under the stormy, the rising slowly smoke, the splashing droplets and so on, has been widely used in computer games, film special effects area and advertisement. But, the shape of natural sceneries is irregular and changes with the surrounding environment, dynamic and random is very strong; the simulation of them has always been hot topics in Computer Graphics. This thesis mainly has carried on the simulation to the two kind of irregular natural sceneries fireworks and the water. First, based on the depth study of the particles system and the fireworks booming process and details, the paper combines the particles system method and random function, and uses partial differential equations (PDE) of the finite difference numerical method to design animation of fireworks. Then, by studying the water generation mechanism and the law of motion, the paper combines nonlinear PDE which describe the laws of fluid motion:no compression, viscous flow of the Navier-Stokes (N-S) equation and the corresponding numerical solution theory, and uses the finite volume method to solve the two-dimensional N-S equation, and simulates the flow of water wave effect.PDE is a mathematical tool of scientific and engineering research and application, the paper clearly linkes the simulation of natural sceneries fireworks and the water with their physical background, and uses the numerical solution of PDE and calculations as theoretical support of the algorithm. In the programming, we combines VC++6.0 programming language, OpenGL texture-mapping technology, and display listing technology, so to reduce the computational complexity and meet the need of the real time.
