The juvenile newspapers and periodicals are the important field of children gains spiritual nourishment and pleasure outside the classroom, and the critical position of carries on ideological, moral and all-around development education to the children.At present, there are more than 500 kinds of juvenile newspapers and periodicals which published in our country, among them published in Uyghur language are the《Xinjiang juvenile newspaper》, the《Young flowers of Tarim》and the《Puple‵s space - time》(Uyghur version), such as one newspaper and two periodicals, take smaller proportion. Although the number of Uyghur juvenile newspapers and periodicals are not more, but since they started to publish, insisted on the total guideline"All for the children"all the time, closely cooperated with party and government‵s education policy that educate the minority children for moral, intellectual, physical and artistic development, with its healthy and rich content, colorful form provide abundant nourishment about politics, science and culture to the Uyghur children and have made a positive contribution to enable the Uyghur children grow to be outstanding successors of communism.Uyghur juvenile newspapers and periodicals are reforming and innovating constantly in the development process and have made certain contribution for the development of journalism in Xinjiang Today with increasingly intense competition of media, their development is facing many challenges.
