Telemedicine is an emerging comprehensive discipline in recent years. It stretches across many domains, for example, the medicine, the computer science and technology, the communication engineering and so on. The most advanced and practical science and technology were applied in the medical field. With the ever-increasing of people's health care demands, the telemedicine has been developed rapidly and shows a broad development prospects.People can do early prevention measure and the corresponding effective treatment to the significant disease though the understanding of their health state timely. It helps to reduce the economic pressures on the social and the family, to improve people's quality of life, to maintain the social harmony and stability.In this article, we choose the pulse signal and the acceleration signal as monitoring targets. To important physiological parameter's examination, the original measure was proceeding by bedside monitoring devices in specialized hospital and under the specialized medical personnel's help, has limited the space for people, moreover, spent expensively. With the development of short-distance wireless communication technology, develops the low-power and low-cost portable monitoring devices is imperative.Based on the above background, in the environment of the ever-changing in communication technology, this article has developed a portable physiological signal monitoring device based on ZigBee technology. The pulse signal and accelerator signal are transmitted to PC wirelessly. Then the further analysis and process of these physiological signals were made on PC. It is worth to mention that the correct rate of algorithm on fall occurred judgment is high. It has made a preliminary attempt to the telemedicine.The prime tasks and research contents are as follows:(1) We have designed the pulse signal and the body posture signal gathering installment based on the CC2430.(2) The wireless transmission system based on ZigBee can realize real-time gathering, transmission, demonstration and memory of the physiological signals, the system is easy to operate.(3) In the signal recuperation electric circuit, the pulse signal was enlarged and low-pass filtered. This method improved the quality of pulse oscilogram.(4) In the software aspect, the system has realized the A/D and the signal's transmission and demonstration.(5) This system has realized the gathering data's real-time display in the Lab VIEW development environment. It is advantageous for the direct observation.(6) In the MATLAB environment, we have designed the algorithm to judement the fall occurred and the type of fall.
