The bar-code technology that was developed from the application and practice of computer now is widely used in many field such as commerce, the process control in industry, communication and so on, which is with the advantage of high-speed input, good accuracy and low cost. Recently the traditional barcode is taking on some disadvantages in industry. With the development of the image processing technology and the auto-identification technology, it was required that a Non-traditional code system should be researched and carried out to fit more scope. This paper is focused on how to design a kind of code-decode system which is more adaptive and accurate, where is based on the regular image processing technology.This project locates its purpose on the wide region of the application of the barcode. At present, there is few application of the barcode on metal medium. So when referring to metal medium, many human resources must be indispensable. This paper used the laser printing technology to form the lines-based barcode on the metal medium, and also a complete code-decode system was developed, that would make this technology broaden its application range.This paper focuses on lines processing technology. Through digital information processing technology, we apply extracting, allocating, calculating methods to the lines in the object so as to finish the recognition task. As the actual application environment contains large disturbance, the classic Hough Transform can't be applied in this project. This paper carries out a Hough-based transform arithmetic which can enhance anti-jamming capability and the accuracy of the arithmetic. Wave-filter was applied in this arithmetic so as to low down the interruption. Several Edge-detection operators were also made compared to each other through experiments.This arithmetic makes certain innovation at theory level. It provides a more universal solution to the code field which would allow this system to solve detection problem through a high interruption environment. It also provides a new view towards the future code technology.
