The Study And Application Of Testing Environment Management

With the rapid development of communication technology and network technology recently,the information technology has become the primary power of social development,and software became the most important ingredient in this field.The theory and technology of quality assurance rapid developed,software testing was recognized gradually on the wide field.Software testing is the main task to assure the quality of software,but testing environment is the place where these activities can be taken.We should pay more attention to the software testing environment management which support more fundamental assurance to software testing technology as well as the study of testing theory and methods.Testing environment management is foundation and main ingredient of testing activities.The management of testing environment including design,execution of technical test case,taking data stream test through anaylzing system architecture,interfaces between the systems and applications,and method of data transaction.The activities of testing environment management include testing data management,the data which can be used in testing process management to assure the support of the case.Testing environment management is foundation and main ingredient of testing activities.The activities of testing environment management have more tasks in operation,maintenance and management of computer technology than regular management activities.The main tasks of these management activities are maintenance and management of computer software and hardware which are supported by the activities of software testing,they also take responsibility for the version,data management,layout of,assignation of testing environment and technical testing of testing procedure etc.This article analyzed function and essentiality of testing environment management in software testing process,had a summary towards relevant testing theory in testing process management,based on the real testing project of E-bank in BOC,merged author's experience in testing process and testing environment management. Especially, this article has particularly introduced the work which the testing environment management refer to according to the testing procedure,including the building of testing environment,preparation of testing data and technical testing etc.Based on e-bank testing project in BOC,this paper has a deep study on test environment management,and mainly carries on the following several works.1.Introduce the testing theory associated activities in the testing environment management.2.Analyze the function of testing environment management in the process of testing,and the affection in the whole activities of the test.3.Introduce and analyze the test technology of testing environment in the test project.4.Use testing technology in the actual testing projects through the e-bank of BOC testing. Analyze and comprehend the main knowledge of activities on testing environment management through the actual projects.
