The identification of the modulation types of Digital modulation signals has been used in many fields such as in Spectrum Management and so on. And this dissertation studies on the recognition of digital modulation signal. This thesis discusses the application of wavelet in Digital signal modulation identification which includes ASK, FSK, PSK QAM, OQPSK and MSK. This paper mainly researches the Identification Algorithm. On the basis of previous research, and has got some achievement in both intra-class identification and inter-class identification. Mainly works can be summarized as follows:1. Introduce and analysis the digital modulation signals in time, frequency and amplitude fields. And introduce the application of wavelet on signal processing.2. The recognition algorithm has been analyzed in detailed. Construct the specific feature that can be used in identification without needing any priori knowledge. Finally did the artificial simulation in MATLAB software, and evaluate the performance of the identification method. The algorithm is easy to design with good performance and reliability in low SNR.3. At the last part, we set an identification system as an example because it's lack of application in practical environments. Analysis the modulation types from GSM and IS-95 CDMA system.Overall, the research of this paper provides the academic and technical support for future use, and provided valuable basic method for its practical application.
