Research On Connections Of News Opinion And Scientific Decision Of Significant National Engineering Projects

They are always with high technology, more difficulties being overcome, large-scale investment with remarkable benefits yielded for a long time. Through the researches on Three Gorges Project and the development of high-speed railway project, it is found that communicating the experts'suggestions is the main part in decision-making process of major engineering projects, lacking of public voice. In communication process, the "administrative intent" and "the will" of officials are resulted in inadequate decision-making argument.In order to make the media achieve the goal, it should expand the source of news, promote the democratization of decision-making, and promote scientific decision-making; adhere to an objective and fair stance; spread engineering knowledge, to make the public understand the science and engineering.
