Research And Development Of Information System For Research Grant Management Of Guizhou University

The criteria for university management especially the finance management has been promoted to higher level due to the development of internet information technology and tide of global integrative economy, and research grant management is an important part for university finance management. Thus, the development of convenient and suitable information system is of great significance for university research grant management.Firstly, the thesis proposes principles for the development of research grant management information system, during which indispensable key techniques to fulfill the system functions are also analyzed. Demand analysis of research grant management software system are also carried out. Then, system goals and operation flow charts are proposed and eight functions that should be provided by this system are concluded, which include user login, system management, contract management, accounting book management, account processing, fixed assets management, analysis and prediction, and budget & final report management. The requirements for four non-functional properties such as safety, reliability, running performance, and human-machine interface are also discussed. Based on these analysis, system design is accomplished according to the idea of software engineering and methods, which include design requirements, system framework, functional blocks, and data interface design. Finally, J2EE software framework together with Oracle database technique are adopted to accomplish the development of final research grant management information system.The system designed in this thesis can meet the users'requirements, and is compatible for further development. It can adapt well and serve better for the new rapid development situation of scientific research nowadays in Chinese universities. Thus the system will favor enhancing finance management efficiency and improving the automation level of management.
