Software testing is very important in the software life cycle, and function testing is the basic of it. With the development of the software engineering technology, software testing system is being used in routine testing work more and more widely. Most testing tools and technologies are good at verifying the system of the graphic user interface, but they are not suitable for the system which is totally run in background. Expanding the current research works and supporting software testing of more application have been a priority of the agenda.In this thesis, I try to research the function testing framework which is suitable to verify the totally background running system. Combining the function testing characteristics of the H's Online Charge System (the "OCS") with the problems we meet in the real word, I design and implement the DCCMeter function testing system. At the beginning of using, it greatly raise test working efficiency and fully proves the framework is validate and efficient.The major work and conclusions:Through studying on the existed techniques and tools for software testing and analyzing the feature of the background running application system, this thesis brings out a framework based on existing technology, and shows effectiveness and feasibility of the framework.On the practicality of the framework, taking the OCS function testing work for an example, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of it. Then based on the framework, the these designs and implements the DCCMeter function testing system. During the beginning of the using, it is verified through solving some practical problems in the function testing work.The important of this thesis is not one of innovation, but feasible in actual engineering application value. It base on but not limited to the exists research of software testing area, attaching much weight to project benefits, ensuring testing works robustness, expandability and maintainability. One of the characteristics of this thesis is to make testing system and environment loosely coupled. The testing of business logical not only can run in standalone mode, but also combine with the exists testing tools. It makes DCCMeter function testing system be suitable to the testing work in software product initial stage as well as the testing work in formal product environment. The second characteristic of this thesis is to make the testing execute and testing result highly cohesive. It changes the present state of inputting testing result by hand and reduces the error rate by people during the testing processes.
