With the development of the information security technology, more and more security problems referred to data loose are concerned by people especially in the field of Enterprise Information Security. In domestic area, there are several reputed DLP solution providers, such as Esafenet and Sagetech, whose products are given perfect evaluation by their clients among which, many of them have great influence in China, for example CMCC, PLA second Artillery Corps and BYD.The file transparent encryption system proposed in this paper is an important part of a whole data loose prevention solution. The file system filter driver technology is utilized in the design after comprehensive comparisons among lots of transparent encryption technologies. On the base of sfilter framework which is common used in driver development and file system surveillance, a file filter solution is presented and many mature data encryption algorithms are employed to do the encryption and decryption tasks on the object file data. The designed system not only provides transparent encryption and decryption function on the volume devices which are inherent in OS, but also supports encryption and decryption ability on the volume devices which are created dynamically. So this system has a strong practicability.And also, this paper could provide important reference values for other file system driver developers. Perhaps, they can get some inspiration from here.
