Research And Implementation Of Telecommunication Network Operational Capacity For Network Service-Oriented Integration

To enhance the management and control capabilities in IP-based environment and grasp the opportunity to provide new services and integration applications, telecommunication operators have start the test and deployment of IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). However, at present IMS is still failed to put forward some attractive killer applications and has to face the lack of enough services, the booming Internet technologies and rich personalized Web 2.0 applications have brought IMS tremendous challenges. Using the open and sharing spirit of Internet and advanced technologies for reference, based on IMS unified session control and application platform, this paper researches on the architecture and technologies for integrated services of telecommunication network and Internet, proposes an integration architecture and operational technologies which are suitable for telecommunication network and Internet services convergence.The integration architecture for opening telecommunication network service capabilities presented in this paper provides telecom network and Internet convergence services by deploying an open gateway outside of the application platform of IMS. IMS-based instant messaging, group menagement, presence, click to dial and the other existed capabilities of current network such as SMS, MMS, mobile location features are presented to the Internet environment through the open gateway.Using Internet open technologies and the user-generated content model, open gateway provides REST-style API for users to develop browser-based Web2.0 and Widget applications. These applications would provide telecom services in the form of Web. The open gateway connect with the IMS application platform and SMS, MMS, Mobile Location gateways, and also connect to the telecom operator's network and business mangement systems to chieve network and service management. Based on IMS service capabilities, this paper describes the design of REST-style open API, including interfaces, parameter requirements, request and response, and application examples, and finally describes the arthitecutre and funtional requirements of open gateway.
