| WiMAX system as a "last mile" of access methods to provide fixed, mobile and portable form of wireless broadband connectivity, and ultimately to provide mobile wireless broadband connectivity in case of Non Light of Sight to the base station, is a important technical support for modern wireless city development plans.WiMAX IEEE802.16-based standards system as a new generation of broadband wireless access systems, due to its strong resistance to fading, the advantages of large coverage, extensive academic and industry by pro-lai, is currently the only access to commercial MIMO-OFDM in system. For these reasons, we research on the key physical layer technologies of WiMAX/802.16e:OFDM, MIMO and channel coding technique, describe the five coding techniques in detail. From the performance under AWGN channel simulation, we obtain five different performance characteristics of coding technology, and analysis used in the indoor scenes of how to improve the performance of 802.16e.In this paper, by theoretical analysis and simulation, we get the following conclusions and recommendations:In the indoor quasi-static channel, we pay more attention to the system throughput, to layered space-time multiplexing MIMO mode, the multiplexing gain can meet the requirements of throughput, the proposed indoor quasi-static environments. |
