At first, we review the study of Computer Games in the world from the aspects of research history and significance. Then we introduce the current status and difficult areas of Computer Go. The major technologies about knowledge used in the field of Computer Go are introduced at last.Subsequently, great guiding role of basic knowledge is elaborated in the field of Go, including rules and terminology in the game of Go. We also classify those terminology or concepts, so as to get the relationship among Computer Go concepts and explain the essence of Go ConceptNet.After that, we analyze and design the expression of concept, the organization approach of concept and steps, in order to construct Computer Go ConceptNet.Then, we also realize some necessary tools during the construction of Go ConceptNet, including a web edition of B/S architecture online collection system of Go terms or concepts, a GUI to show the relations among Go concepts. Some possible problems when construct the system are analyzed, and some feasible solutions are given.Finally, we apply ConceptNet in our Computer Go engines. Firstly, Computer Go basic class is designed and implemented; SGF format file is analyzed; terms are expressed in the engine of Computer Go in two approaches, one is program segment, and the other is pattern; thus we realize a function in Computer Go, to analyze and identify Go terms by computer engine; we also apply this ConceptNet in Monte-Carlo simulation, experiments result shows that it improves the strength of Computer Go; then we realize a function of go situation analysis, and some possible tactics are given to make Computer Go more purposeful.Specifically, the main work and innovation of this study are summarized as follows:1. Computer Go ConceptNet is researched, and detailed analysis, design and implementation are carried out in the specific area of Go knowledge.2. Based on Computer Go ConceptNet, some knowledge of the current board status can be identified.3. ConceptNet is applied during simulation, improved the strength of Computer Go.4. We research situation analysis in the game of Go, and present some relevant strategies to inspire Computer Go, to make Go engine more intelligent.5. We also realize some auxiliary tools during the construction of ConceptNet, and it is helpful to Computer Go engine.
