Research On The Sustainable Development Of Hunan People's Broadcasting

In the new century, faced increasingly fierce competition in the media, China's broadcasting industry comes into the speeding age, in which digitalization process enters a new period, cross-media cooperation and operation appear in succession and industrialization are in the ascendant. As the "leader" of local broadcasting media, provincial broadcast's developing direction and developing strategies attract close attention from local media at all levels. After years of strong development, Hunan People's Broadcasting Station, which is also a provincial broadcasting station, stands out from provincial broadcasting stations across the country. As far as November, 2009, Hunan People's Broadcasting Station's audience has reached 63 million, and its annual income has exceeded a hundred million. The pace of its strategy and initiatives has been ahead of the development of the national broadcasting industry. At the same time, as a provincial broadcasting media, Hunan People's Broadcasting Station also are also a candidate of provincial broadcasting station, "Hunan Broadcasting phenomenon" and "Hunan media phenomenon" have become a successful example of the nation's media industry.Take Hunan People's Broadcasting Station as an example, this dissertation makes a comprehensive analysis of what kind of role should provincial broadcasting media play in the process of scientific and technological development and the digitalization nowadays; a summation of the developing process, industrialization process, business model and strategy, industrial systems development of Hunan People's Broadcasting Station during the 60 years of 1949-2009 is also made; at the same time, the author focuses on a range of issues such as how broadcasting industry should locate itself when facing such a rapid developing internet industry, how to develop using the internet so as to achieve a win-win result that its own development and economy both benefit, and ultimately achieve a sustainable developing strategy, which are also the anchorages of this thesis.
