DCN Device Control Communication Protocol is the standard protocol constituted by Digit Community Control Network Industrial Alliance.It is an authoritative protocol in the whole Digital Residential Community. In the DCN Device Control Communication Protocol, the DCN Bus conception is provided. The protocol describes the DCN bus's device. The DCN bridge is very important in all the DCN bus's devices. The DCN bridges work on the DCN bus's data link layer. We can extend the amount of the control subnets by using the DCN bridges.The DCN bridge can also administer the subnet devices, that can reduce the burden of the DCN bus.This design about the DCN bus's bridge based on the bridge equipment's demand in the DCN device control communication protocol, and proposed the complete design mentality and realizes the plan. In this article the DCN bus's bridge's structure was descripted detailedly, and the principle of the DCN bus's bridge was analysed. The main chip used in the design of DCN bus's bridge is S3C2410 microprocessor produced by Samsung Electronics, the whole work was completed on the hardware platform composed by S3C2410 smallest system, and the embedded Linux operating system was used for the software design of the bridge.In this article, the prototype of the DCN bus's bridge was designed and realized on the embedded development board. The software and design of this prototype, for example:The custom-made of the embedded linux operating system, the design of the driver programmes in the bottom, the design of the application programme, has been given very exhaustive description.
