Electronic products'damage is mainly due to high-speed collision. So it is very important to research electronic products'structural intensity in the process of high-speed collision. Apply traditional experimental method to research electronic products'relative quality, not only cost lots of time and money, but also there are many objections in the experiment. Finite element method is a calculation method which is come with developing of computer technology. Finite element method as an effective method of engineering analysis has been widely used in the engineering field, and provides a completely new design method for electronic products.Drop impact process is a typical high-speed impact manner. This paper uses the mouse as a representative of electronic products, and studies its drop impact process. In this paper, finite element method is applied to simulate mouse's the process of drop impact, and selects commercial finite element software ADINA as a numerical simulation tool.Since the original model structure of the mouse is complex, not suitable for direct use of the original model to simulate the mouse, this article under the premise of doing not affect the numerical simulation results, the mouse model is appropriately simplified. This paper chooses the two kinds of typical drop condition, and three kinds of ground type. In this paper, mouse under each drop condition will drop to three different kinds of ground, and they are numerical simulated. By analyzing the simulation results, this paper has got the mouse's stress distribution in the two kinds of the process of drop impact, and found the mouse most likely to produce damaged structure during the process of drop impact.Base on the numerical simulation results, this paper designs two kinds of projects to improve the structure of the mouse. Two kinds of structural improvement projects are increasing connection columns and increasing the stiffener. This paper analyzes two kinds of projects numerical simulation results. By analyzing the two kinds of structural improvement projects simulation results, this paper obtains the second structural improvement project can effectively improve the mouse force situation in the process of drop impact and gets the best structure of the mouse design. In this paper, the study of the mouse drop impact process reaches the purpose of decreasing cost and shorting development cycles.
