Finite element method which used the computer simulation method was widely used in structure and electromagnetic fields. Its principle was dividing the entity object into different size, and different shape continual unit combination, which may be quadrangle, hexagon and so on. Assigning unit Poisson's ratio, material properties and real constant parameters, and obtaining each unit displacement through the solution of unit multi-dimensional equation, then according to the elasticity and physical equations it calculated the displacement of the entity object. ANSYS is the most common finite element software, which has provided more than 100 kinds unit types that kept the unit combination is very close to the border entity boundary. Therefore, the finite element solution could be used to solve the object with complex geometric shapes, and various structures and materials. Simultaneously, it could also use APDL to establish the parameterization model and complete a number of redundant orders, which can improve the working speed and the efficiency effectively.In the ANSYS platform, according to the characteristically of the Physiological structure of face and geometry structure, it used the determinate feature points and increased the number of auxiliary non-independent points to as the lowest level of graphics elements of the ANSYS modeling. It used the Partition fitted curve method to these points for synthesizing smooth, continuous face lines model, on this basis, it generated triangulated surfaces and square patches under different circumstances, after carrying on a series of Boolean operations, it obtained the person face's three-dimensional model. After defining some attributes and loads of this model, it can simulate various human expression changes. With the aid of MATLAB imagery processing toolbox, using the three-dimensional coordinates extracted from the eyes, nose, mouth and the main features points of profile in the face side of the image as the modeling parameters, the different parameters of different faces, and the APDL language it could complete the modeling of different face quickly.The finite element modeling of human face based on the underlying geometric elements, so it could reduce the impact of light and other factors on the facial feature region, make parametric modeling switch from one model to another model quickly, improve the efficiency of the human face modeling, and reduce the difficulty of the late face recognition.
