The birth of creditcard was a important event in financial history in 20th century.Coming into being in the environment of developed consumption credit and the system of social credit ,it became rapidly a remarkable financial innovation tool in world financial field.bankcard was first introduced into China seventeen years ago,Since then bankcard whose dominant part was debit card has made a great progress.However it is still only a subordinate service to traditional business .At present, Chinese bankcard business is in the turning period of operating mechanism and efforts are focused on pushing bankcard business forward in the light of market rules by Chinese financial circle. To explore the bankcard operating regulations in market-oriented economy and afford reference for the development of bankcard, this thesis probed into bankcard's revenue and cost with microeconomics principals. Based on the investigation to several bankcard department of representative commercial banks and the status quo of bankcard revenue cost,the author analyzed the function of current saving rate of interest from bankcard point of view ,the bankcard risk cost with asymmetric information theory,the bank rate of interest with theory of utility and risk pricing, Inter-bank offered rate with internal transfer pricing principal and sale commission with break even point principal,and also discussed the leverage action on bank interest rate. supported by the above analysis practical application of different theoretical models was discussed.Volume-cost-profit analysis is one of most important methods in cost study ,Therefore based econometrics a case study was made to describe the application of Volume-cost-profit analysis methodology in bankcard analysis and part of the relative theory mentioned above.At the same time the study can be used as reference in decision-making. This study results in the following proposals for macro-policy: 1) Expand bankcard to credit card; 2) Establishing social credit system is necessary for expanding credit card business,it is a quick and low-cost method to establish social credit system by beginning with bankcard; 3) The development and expanding of bankcard depends on coalition and merger.
