| Urbanization is the result of the society which has developed to certain degrees. With the development of economy, cities will play a more and more critical role in national economy. Urbanization in China is becoming the great event that impacts the whole world. However, the urbanization level in China drops behind industrialization by far, which goes against economic and social development. The paper is composed of 8 chapters. The first chapter analyses the current task of development and points out the great meaning of the study, sets forth the study fruit on urbanization in domestic and overseas, and induces the study logic, methods and innovative points. The second chapter studies the urban problems, including the origin and evolution, formation principle and property, concept and boundary of an urban, and innovatively builds up the game model about urban formation. The third chapter researches the basic theory of urbanization, including the concept of urbanization, urbanization and economic development, urbanization and labor-division, urbanization and human capital development, population resources of urbanization, urbanization and the solution to farmer, rural and agriculture problems. The fourth chapter studies the urbanization development trace and discipline of the whole world and some developed countries and regions such as USA, Europe, etc., and gets some important conclusions through the study of urbanization in USA. In fifth chapter, it studies the urbanization course and development trace, including system roots of lagged urbanization in China, urbanization indicator compare between China and G-7 countries, urbanization development characteristic analysis since 1952 and urbanization prospect forecast in the coming SO years. Especially, it quantitatively reviews the urbanization development from the aspects of the relationships between urbanization rate and population growth, GDP, GDP per capita, industry structure, employment structure etc., make a series of important conclusions. In the sixth chapter, it sets up urbanization objective system, which includes 5 subsidiary objects and 27indicators, and calculates the total scores of 2004 relative to the objects of 2010 and 2020. The seventh chapter is case study. It analyses the urbanization development problem of the three greatest clustered metropolitan groups in China, including the introduction of the three groups, the development benefits of them, the step-by-step implemental objects of the three groups in China in the coming 20 years. The last chapter summarizes some important conclusions of the paper and puts forward the further research prospect. |
