Development Model In IT Industry Of Major WTO Members And Implications To China's IT Industry

IT industry is playing a more and more important role in world economy. Quite a fewWTO member countries have positioned IT industry as their nations' pillar industry. Atfirst, this article analyzes some major WTO member countries' such as U.S.A, India,Korea, Taiwan of China, Japan and Brazil's development model of IT industry, thendiscusses the existing condition of China's IT industry. By comparison, I points outsome key problems in IT industry of China. At the end of this article, I give some adviceon how to improve the competitive advantadge of this industry of China, based on theabove-mentioned WTO members' experience.
