The Analysis Of The Structure And The Characteristic On The Direct Investment Of South Korea To China

South Korea has already become one of the most important origin places for foreigncapital's direct investment to China from the beginning to the present. This article embarksfrom the structure and the characteristic angle, carried on the comprehensive,systematic andthe thorough analysis to South Korean direct investment to China, discovers the characteristicand the questions existed at present, and proposes some policy suggestions.It is hope that havesome help to the area's development and the industrial structure promotion to our country.Besides the introduction, the article is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is the analysis of structure for South Korean direct investment to China,it has mainly analyzed the region structure, the industrial structure and the way structure forSouth Korean direct investment to China. Through the analysis I know that South Koreamainly concentrates on the area of Bohai Sea and northeast three provinces, but has thetendency which expands to the south;the position choices of the investment to China mainlyinfluenced by the degree of the gathers,the geographical positions and the wages;theindustrial structure of the investment concentrates on the manufacturing industry, the initialperiod mainly invested in the labor-intensive industry, afterwards gradually changed into thecapital-intensive industry;the way of investment is sole ownership primarily.The second chapter is the characteristic analysis for South Korean direct investment toChina. At the basis of the first chapter, this chapter using comparative analysis method, carryon the contrast analysis to the situation of direct investment to China in South Korea andAmerica, Japan, Germany. Then have the conclusions that : in the motive of the directinvestment to China, South Korea does not pay great attention to the enterprise transnationalmanagement the long-term benefits, lacks the investment strategically the integrity;in thescale of the direct investment to China, the scale of South Korea is smaller;in the structure ofthe direct investment to China, South Korea is backward, and so on.The third chapter is the conclusion and policy suggestion. Through the above analysis,the author think that, at present, the scale of South Korean direct investment to China isexpanding, the region is gradually increasing, the industrial structure is improving day by day,the way is still sole. Finally, the author proposes some policy suggestions in view of thesecharacteristics and the questions, regarding the area's development and the industrial structurepromotion to our country.
